Rains......

Its been raining today; and good times for business for the community members. One man said, " We make more money in the rainy season ".

Today in one home, we talked about a time when the community experienced floods in 2000. Young people, remember it too. They remember seeing bodies floating everywhere, lack of drinking water, food; and poor sanitation that led to alot of diseases. At the moment, the rains are not a great concern, but people still think about 'what if it happens again'.

The children enjoy this season. They play football, others fly kites when the wind blows, and most of them roll in the muddy water!

Today, we had community conversations, home visits and as usual, work with children through play. We have just come back home, and had, a wonderful lunch prepared by John (our chef).

He has been listening to 'Legend'
