Dear Reader,

Welcome to Significantbeyond.

I hope that the stories, and insights will be interesting and helpful. I have set this blog up, so that you can have more insight into the community work we are engaged in; but also a chance for you to learn about the poeple, culture and lifestyle of the Bangladeshians. We all need to make a difference wherever we are, thats how we make a better world; make it your ambition. That the diversity in cultures can be a learning opportunity on how we can influence change around us.

I am a Christian and love Jesus, so once in a while I would 'drop' some Jesus fires here and there, don't run away if you are not a Christian, just enjoy the journey, and explore points of 'transfer'.

My mission here in the next month and half; is to support in developing the capacity of a few young people who will respond by accompanying communities, through an Integrated approach. This team, will be a Pilot FRONTIER to continue developing a Facilitation Team for transfer and scaling purposes, hopefully from one community to many more in Bangladesh. The losses, concerns and vulnerability are increasing on a daily basis, we need to respond faster!

Our base is in Shanthira, 2hrs away from the border of India and Bangladesh! Close to Kolkata, this is the home we know for the next five weeks.
