In this community, cow dung is the major source of heating system. They put dung on sticks, or paste them on the walls to dry; and use them as coal for cooking. They say its flames hotter and cooks faster than normal wood.
The other day when I visited my Muslim family, it begun to rain and we run around, shifting the dung sticks to a shade; before the rains spoilt them.
I will transfer this to Kenya.
