We visited the community this afternoon and it was a casual, relational, engaging process. The team walked in pairs and visited their friends; some went to look for fruits, while others just walked the streets and had conversations. Captain Dipu, Richard and myself visited a few elders; to introduce him. This was the first time for the elders to meet a Salvation Army officer since we begun.
Two of the guys came back with bunches of fruits; two of the girls brought mangoes and vegetables. Snacks for the walk. Today, for the first time, our driver, left the van and joined the process in the community.
